15 citizens have been returned to the territory controlled by Ukraine. The oldest among them is 96 years old, and the youngest is 49, reported Ombudsman Dmytro Lubynec.
Among those evacuated is a 96-year-old woman, her daughter, and son-in-law from the temporarily occupied Zhelezny Port in the Kherson region. The woman required constant care, and her son-in-law moved with an Ilizarov apparatus.
Also evacuated was a 74-year-old man from Kakhovka, who had remained in occupation for years, fearing that his departure could harm his son, who was in Russian captivity. After his son's release, the man decided to leave, but his health condition deteriorated sharply. He is currently under medical supervision.
Lubynec also emphasized that for some individuals, returning begins without documents, as they were lost or became invalid.
