On October 2, 2026, in Hostomel, as a result of an attack by enemy drones, the number of injured has risen to four people. Among them is an 8-year-old girl who sustained a shrapnel injury.
Details of the Attack and Injuries
According to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, two of the injured sustained minor injuries. A 66-year-old man has been reported with burns and a closed abdominal injury, and he has been hospitalized to a local hospital. An 8-year-old girl suffered a shrapnel wound to her lower limb.
Medical Assistance and Consequences
Necessary medical assistance was provided to the injured at the scene. Reports indicate that hospitalization was not required for the other injured individuals. It is confirmed that there were no fatalities as a result of the attack. Rescue teams are continuing to extinguish the fire at the warehouse and production facilities that occurred due to the attack.

Kyiv OVA head Tkachенко urged residents to be cautious and not to ignore air raid signals. He emphasized the importance of remaining in shelters during times of threat.
