On the night of September 22, 2026, Russian forces struck the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv. As a result of the attack, civilian objects were damaged, including residential buildings.
Details of the Attack in the Dnipro District
In the Dnipro district of Kyiv, debris from a projectile hit a five-story building, causing a fire in the basement. The first floor and the facade of the building were also damaged. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire, managing to rescue 15 people. Among the injured, 4 individuals were reported, with three hospitalized.
Fire in the Darnytsia District
Additionally, in the Darnytsia district, a fire broke out in a tree on the territory of a private residential house. Fortunately, there were no casualties in this incident. According to the State Emergency Service (SES) of Kyiv, there were no fatalities as a result of the attack.
