On the evening of October 5, 2026, Kyiv once again became a target for Russian attacks. In the Pechersk district, as a result of a drone strike, two cars caught fire, and another was damaged.
Incident Details
The attack occurred in the courtyard of a residential high-rise building. Emergency services responded promptly to the call and extinguished the fire caused by the drone strike. Fortunately, no one was injured as a result of the incident.
Government Response
The Kyiv authorities and the State Emergency Service (SES) confirmed the information about the fire. They noted that thanks to the quick actions of the rescuers, casualties among the population were avoided.
