The attack began at 6:00 PM on October 5 and continued throughout the night. The enemy drones were launched from several directions:

- Kursk
- Shatalovo
- Millerovo
- Primorsk-Akhtarsk
- TOT Donetsk
- TOT AR Crimea – Hvardiyiske
- the waters of the Azov Sea
Among the attacked drones were 49 reactive UAVs as well as imitation drones of the type “Parody”.
