On October 12, 2026, it was announced in Kyiv that there would be temporary changes in the movement of metro trains and buses due to the closure of the South Bridge. These changes were implemented to ensure the safety and convenience of passengers.
Changes in Metro Movement
Trains on the green line of the metro are now operating only on specific sections, namely:
- between the stations Syrets and Vydubychi;
- between the stations Osokorky and Chervonyi Khutir.
These changes have affected the schedule, and passengers should take this into account when planning their trips.
Alternative Routes for Buses
Buses numbered 22 and 91 have also undergone route changes. They are now temporarily running over the Darnytskyi Bridge. This decision was made to reduce traffic congestion and ensure uninterrupted transport communication in the city.
Information about the restoration of regular movement and schedules will be provided additionally. The Kyiv City State Administration urges passengers to stay updated and plan their trips according to the new conditions.
