On October 1, 2026, changes were made to the movement of trains on the green line of the metro and ground public transport in Kyiv due to an enemy attack. Specifically, metro trains are currently only operating on underground sections, while ground transport has had to alter its routes.
Metro Movement Changes
Trains on the green line of the metro are now running only between the following stations:
- "Syriec" – "Vydubychi";
- "Osokorky" – "Chervonyi Khutir".
These changes are related to an explosive wave that affected the ventilation system, resulting in dust entering the train car. Fortunately, no passengers or the driver were harmed, and the train's structures remained intact.
Ground Transport Movement Changes
Buses No. 22 and 91 have also had their routes altered. They will temporarily operate via the Darnytsia railway bridge in both directions. This decision was made to ensure passenger safety and minimize risks during enemy attacks.
Infrastructure Safety Checks
Specialists from KP "Kyivavtoshlyakmist" are currently inspecting the condition of the Southern Bridge to ensure its safety following the enemy attack. This is an important step in maintaining the uninterrupted operation of the transport system in Kyiv.
