From October 31 to November 1, 2026, traffic restrictions are planned on several important transport arteries in Kyiv, along with changes in public transport operations. These measures are aimed at improving connectivity between the banks of the Dnipro River and adapting to the conditions of damaged transport infrastructure.
Traffic Restrictions on Overpasses
In the capital, from October 31 to November 1, there will be partial traffic restrictions on the Novokostyantynivsky Overpass in the Podilskyi district. Additionally, from November 1 to November 30, traffic will be restricted on Brovary Avenue in the Dniprovskyi district. These measures are designed to ensure road safety and conduct necessary repair work.
Changes in Public Transport Routes
Due to damage to the transport infrastructure caused by enemy attacks, routes of ground transport in Kyiv are being reorganized:
- Instead of one route along the red metro line, three new routes will be introduced:
- № 1-M — "Lisova" — "Palats Sportu";
- № 1-MA — "Lisova" — "Arsenalna" (during peak hours);
- № 1-MD — "Darnytsia" — "Palats Sportu".
- The launch of a new trolleybus № 48, which will run from the "Lisova" metro station to the "Kureniivka" railway station via the "Pochaina" metro station.
- A new bus № 3-M will appear on the green metro line, running between the "Osokorky" and "Vydubychi" metro stations.
These changes in routes are intended to enhance connectivity between the banks of the capital and ensure convenience for passengers amid damaged infrastructure.
