On September 26, 2026, due to an enemy attack in Kyiv, the routes of trolleybuses No. 9-K and 40 were changed. This is related to the closure of traffic on Protasiv Yar street.
New Trolleybus Routes
Trolleybuses No. 9-K and No. 40 are now operating on new routes:
- Trolleybus No. 9-K: Kadetskyi Hai St. – Solomianska St. – Metropolitan Vasyl Lypkivskyi St. – Hetman Pavlo Skoropadskyi St. – Zhilyanska St. – "Palats Sportu" metro station; in the opposite direction – following its own scheme.
- Trolleybus No. 40: Solomianska St. – Metropolitan Vasyl Lypkivskyi St. – Hetman Pavlo Skoropadskyi St. – Zhilyanska St. – "Palats Sportu" metro station; in the opposite direction: Saksahanskoho St. – Hetman Pavlo Skoropadskyi St. – Metropolitan Vasyl Lypkivskyi St. – Solomianska St., then – following its own scheme.
