In the first half of 2026, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) were provided with only 15-20% of their needs. This was stated by the former Commander of the AFU Serhiy Syrskyi in an interview with the online publication "Levyi Bereh".
Resource Shortages
The shortage of resources affected all major areas, including:
- ammunition
- ground drones
- pickups
- motorcycles
Particularly critical was the situation with ground robotic complexes, which perform about 60% of the logistics on the front. This highlights the importance of such technologies for ensuring the effectiveness of military operations.
Causes of the Shortage
Syrskyi noted that to understand the reasons for this situation, it is worth addressing the then-Minister of Defense Fedorov. This indicates potential issues in resource management and planning for the AFU's supply.
