On September 26, 2026, Kyiv once again became a target for drone attacks from Russia. As a result of the morning strikes, four districts of the capital were affected, and a total of five people were injured.
Consequences of the Attack in Different Districts
The drone attack impacted the following areas of Kyiv:
- Solomyanskyi District: apartments and a shop in a five-story building caught fire, injuring four people aged between 26 and 77.
- Obolonskyi District: a building of a kindergarten was set ablaze.
- Sviyatoshynskyi District: the roof of a shop was damaged.
- Darniytskyi District: damage to residential buildings, a lyceum, a university, and an institute was recorded.
Details on the Injured and Damages
In total, the attack resulted in injuries to:
- Four residents of the Solomyanskyi District.
- One 51-year-old resident of the Obolonskyi District.
Additionally, office premises, supermarkets, a business center, vehicles, and warehouse facilities were also damaged. Russian forces struck the pharmaceutical company "Darnitsa", raising further concerns among the population.
