On October 21, 2026, a tragic incident occurred in the Kharkiv region when a drone strike targeted private housing. As a result of the attack, two elderly individuals lost their lives, and eleven others were injured.

According to the regional military administration, the drone strike resulted in the deaths of:
- an 81-year-old woman
- an 83-year-old man
Additionally, eleven people experienced acute stress reactions, including a two-month-old baby, indicating the severe psychological impact on the victims.
