On October 29, 2026, emergency power outages have been implemented in parts of the Holosiivskyi and Solomianskyi districts of Kyiv on the command of Ukrenergo. This decision was made to stabilize the energy system.

Emergency power outages are introduced in situations where there is a threat of overload in the electricity grid or in the event of emergencies. In such cases, scheduled outages do not apply, and energy companies are forced to take urgent measures to prevent large-scale problems.

Residents of Kyiv are advised to be prepared for possible interruptions in electricity supply and to follow updates through official channels. DTEK reports that in case of changes in the situation, they will inform the public through their Telegram channel:
- Emergency outages affect parts of the Holosiivskyi district.
- Emergency outages affect parts of the Solomianskyi district.
- Scheduled outages do not apply during emergency measures.
