On September 20, 2026, as a result of an enemy drone attack in the Boryspil region of Kyiv Oblast, one person was injured. A fire broke out in a warehouse building and on the surrounding area.

According to the State Emergency Service (SES), the attack caused a fire that engulfed the warehouse building and the grass cover around it. The grass fire has already been extinguished, but efforts to put out the warehouse fire are ongoing.
Consequences of the Attack in Kyiv Region
This incident is part of a broader series of attacks on Kyiv region, which have also resulted in other fires:
- A fire occurred in the Fastiv district at an industrial site.

Threat to Infrastructure
The mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk, Ruslan Marcinkiv, warned about the potential increase in air raid alerts in the west of the country. He stated that energy infrastructure, transport, and large supermarkets are at risk.
