On September 27, 2026, an enemy drone strike hit a car service station (STS) in the Solomianskyi district of Kyiv, resulting in the death of a man.
Incident Details
In the early hours, around three o'clock, a fire broke out in the single-story STS building due to the drone strike. Rescuers responded quickly and managed to prevent the fire from spreading to a nearby food establishment. The fire was extinguished; however, during the firefighting efforts in another part of the district, the body of a man was discovered.
Response from the State Emergency Service
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) confirmed the information regarding the enemy strike. They noted that two buildings were affected by the attack:
- The STS building, where the fire occurred.
- A non-residential building, where the body of the deceased man was found during the firefighting efforts.
Rescuers continue to work at the scene to ensure safety and mitigate the consequences of the attack.
