EU Provides Ukraine with €2.9 Billion to Support Economy and Defense

On October 2, 2026, Ukraine received €2.9 billion from the European Union under the Ukraine Facility program. President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed gratitude to the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and the EU member states for this significant financial support.

  • agricultural policy;
  • transport.

Among them, three indicators were met ahead of schedule, demonstrating Ukraine's efforts in reforming and adapting to European standards.
