On September 29, 2026, 14 children were evacuated from the occupied part of the Kherson region, as reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.
Details of the Evacuation
Among the evacuated children are four boys and ten girls aged between six and seventeen years. Additionally, one adult, who was deprived of parental care, was rescued from occupation. According to Prokudin, all the children endured difficult trials under the pressure of the occupying regime.

The evacuated children have various stories that illustrate their hardships:
- A 16-year-old boy who was forced by Russian occupiers to register for military service;
- A 17-year-old girl who sought to receive a Ukrainian education despite the risks;
- A 10-year-old girl who dreamed of returning home and did everything possible to find safety.
