Fake Business Trip to Poland: Odessa Residents Sold Exit Scheme

In Odessa, two men, aged 33 and 28, were arrested for organizing a fake business trip to Poland. They offered conscription-age men a clever scheme to exit abroad, allowing them to avoid mobilization.

The Exit Scheme

The perpetrators proposed to their clients employment at a defense enterprise. This arrangement allowed them to remove their status as 'wanted' and obtain a reservation against mobilization. For this service, they charged 13 thousand dollars.

The Registration Process

After three weeks of fictitious work on paper, the fraudsters promised to arrange a business trip to Poland. After this, clients were expected to simply not return to Ukraine, leaving their obligations behind.

Legal Consequences

The arrest of the Odessa residents was the result of an investigation by law enforcement agencies that uncovered this fraudulent scheme. Currently, an investigation is underway, and both men may face serious legal consequences for organizing illegal exit from the country.
