On September 19, Rosaviation announced the suspension of aircraft acceptance and release at four Yamal airports: Novy Urengoy, Nadym, Sabetta, and Utrenniy. This decision was made to ensure flight safety in the region.
Two of these airports, particularly Sabetta, are crucial for industrial projects in Russia's fuel and energy sector, including the "Yamal LNG" project.
