Fozzy Group, one of Ukraine's leading retailers, announced staff cuts effective November 1, 2026. This decision comes as a result of significant losses the company has suffered due to Russian attacks on its infrastructure.
Company Losses from Attacks
From August 1 to September 25, 2026, Fozzy Group reported the destruction or damage of over 20 facilities, including:
- warehouses;
- supermarkets;
- production facilities.
These losses have led to a substantial reduction in the company's infrastructure, which in turn has affected its ability to maintain previous levels of operation and customer service.
Staff Reductions and Recovery Efforts
Due to the loss of capacity, Fozzy Group is forced to reduce its workforce, particularly in office teams, as well as in "Silpo" supermarkets and logistics divisions. Despite this, the company continues to work on restoring damaged facilities and opening new stores, while actively hiring staff for warehouses and production.
The company emphasized that this is a forced decision made under extraordinary circumstances, and it hopes for a swift recovery of its operations in the future.
