Fraudsters send links to a bogus contest that supposedly aims to support children. However, the real goal of these actions is to steal users' accounts. Once the criminals gain access to an account, they begin to demand money from the victim's acquaintances, using her personal data.
How to Avoid Fraud
To avoid falling into the trap, experts advise following a few simple rules:
- Do not click on suspicious links, even if they are sent by acquaintances.
- Verify information about contests on official resources.
- Do not provide personal information to strangers.

The Center for Counteracting Disinformation (CPD) urges Ukrainians to be careful and vigilant. They recommend spreading this information among friends and family to prevent fraud.
