Germany has begun mandatory calls for men to undergo medical examinations for service in the Bundeswehr. All 18-year-old men with German citizenship are required to fill out a military questionnaire, and they can be summoned for mandatory medical examinations even if they indicated in the questionnaire that they do not wish to serve.
Currently, 24 centers for medical examinations are being established across the country, which are expected to be fully operational by July 2027.
