On the night of October 4, 2026, humanitarian aid was delivered to the occupied city of Oleshky. This operation was the second of its kind and was carried out by the guardsmen of the 11th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine and the 34th Kherson Regiment.
Details of the Humanitarian Aid
The humanitarian cargo consisted of food products, medications, and children's kits, with a total weight of nearly 4 tons. All 400 packages were successfully delivered to the residents of the city, who are suffering from hunger.
Use of Drones
Drones were employed to deliver the aid. The crew of the UAV Perun not only delivered the humanitarian cargo but also rescued six animals that were in danger.
Collaboration of Defense Forces
The operation was conducted in cooperation with the marine infantry and border guards, demonstrating the coordinated efforts of various units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the context of the challenging humanitarian situation in the region.
