Increase in ARVI Cases in Ukraine: Over 307 Thousand Infected in Three Weeks

Ukraine is experiencing a significant increase in ARVI cases. According to the Center for Public Health (CPH), over 307 thousand people have fallen ill in just three weeks.

Analysis of Illness Rates

In the first week of observation alone, more than 106 thousand new cases were reported. Doctors note that there is an unusual progression of some diseases, where patients can simultaneously contract two different viruses. This complicates diagnosis and treatment.

Causes and Consequences

Experts believe that the increase in illness may be linked to several factors, including:

  • changes in weather and cooling, which facilitate the spread of viruses;
  • insufficient vaccination of the population against ARVI;
  • increased social activity of people following quarantine restrictions.

These factors may lead to an increase in illness cases, placing additional strain on Ukraine's healthcare system.
