On October 19, 2026, in Kyiv, due to damage to the metro infrastructure, a decision was made to increase the number of buses on routes No. 1-M and 118. This will provide additional transportation options for passengers and improve connectivity between the city districts.
Changes in Routes
For the temporary route No. 1-M, the following will be added:
- 3 buses operating between the "Lisova" metro station and the "Darnytsia" metro station;
- 12 buses operating from the "Lisova" metro station to the "Palats Sportu" metro station.
This distribution of buses will ensure connectivity with the central part of the city, especially in case of air raid alerts, while also avoiding excessive congestion at the "Darnytsia" metro station.
Additional Buses on Route No. 118
Additionally, 2 buses will be added to route No. 118. This decision aims to improve transportation connectivity in situations where the metro cannot fulfill its functions due to damage.
The Kyiv authorities urge passengers to consider these changes when planning their trips to avoid inconveniences.
