A situation has arisen in the Poltava City Council that has drawn attention to the voting of Vyacheslav Tyutyunnik, a deputy from the "Servant of the People" party, who participates in online voting while residing in the USA. However, according to reports, he has never turned on his camera or participated in discussions.
Call for Investigation
Deputy Sergiy Kaplin, a colleague of Tyutyunnik, expressed concern regarding the legitimacy of his colleague's voting. He urged law enforcement agencies to conduct an investigation, emphasizing the need to clarify where Tyutyunnik is voting from. Kaplin highlighted the importance of this investigation, as the participation of deputies living abroad can raise doubts in the public eye.
Demands to Law Enforcement
Kaplin appealed to law enforcement with the following requests:
- to determine the exact location from which the deputy is voting;
- to contact cybersecurity services for verification;
- to demand that Tyutyunnik appear and explain his situation.
This situation has sparked discussions among deputies and the public, as the issue of voting legitimacy is a crucial aspect of the work of local self-government bodies.
