The company Kernel experienced a significant decrease in oil sales in the third quarter of 2026, reducing volumes by 48% compared to the same period last year. According to data published by Forbes, sales volumes amounted to only 165,000 tons.

Reasons for the Sales Decline

The primary reason for this sharp decline was that for most of the quarter, the company was unable to ship products through the Black Sea ports. This was caused by disruptions in port logistics resulting from Russian attacks.

Grain Exports Also Affected

In addition to the decline in oil sales, the company also faced significant losses in grain exports. According to the company, grain export volumes decreased by 54%, down to 574,000 tons. These figures indicate serious challenges facing the agricultural sector amid ongoing military actions.
