Kонотоп finally has electricity after five days without power

As of October 29, 2026, electricity supply has been restored in the city of Kонотоп in the Sumy region after five days without power. According to Ukrenergo, all consumers currently have access to electricity, but the supply is being provided in turns.

Temporary Restrictions on Electricity Supply

First Deputy Minister of Energy Artem Nekrasov reported that temporary emergency power outages may occur throughout the day in Kонотоп. This is due to ongoing repair work, which cannot be conducted under voltage.

Comments from Local Authorities

The mayor of Kонотоп, Artem Semenikhin, previously stated that he does not expect normal electricity supply in the city until spring. However, he noted that fuel for generators at the Points of Invincibility is already available, which will allow for a certain level of electricity supply for residents.
