Serhii Korolenko, a defender from Kryvyi Rih, passed away during treatment on August 19, 2026. He was drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine in April 2024 and served in an assault battalion.
Before his enlistment, Serhii worked as a repair locksmith in the casting and mechanical workshop of the ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih plant. Colleagues remember him as a diligent worker who was always ready to help. They describe him as an open, sincere, calm, and balanced person who avoided conflicts.
The heart of the defender stopped beating during a leave for treatment at his place of residence. Let us remember those who give their all for Ukraine and honor their memory with a moment of silence every day at 9:00.
