On October 7, 2026, the Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill, located in Obukhiv, was hit by a rocket attack for the third time in six months. As a result, production at the facility has been halted.

Consequences of the Attack

The rocket strike caused significant damage to production and storage facilities, as well as to equipment and engineering communications. Following the explosions, fires broke out, which are currently being extinguished by emergency services. Fortunately, no employees were harmed.

Products of the Mill

The Kyiv Cardboard and Paper Mill specializes in the production of various paper products. Among the main items manufactured at the facility are:

  • toilet paper under the brands “Obukhiv 65” and “Divo”;
  • paper towels;
  • napkins;
  • cardboard and corrugated packaging.

History of Attacks

This attack marks the third in the last six months. Each of the strikes has inflicted significant damage on the enterprise, which is an important player in the pulp and paper market in Ukraine. Authorities and company representatives express concern about the safety of employees and the stability of production amid the ongoing war.
