On October 27, 2026, Kyiv enhanced its surface public transport operations due to changes in the metro system. This decision was made in response to the increased load on the 'red' metro line, necessitating additional transport services.
Changes in Bus Routes
On the temporary bus route No. 1-M, 15 units of rolling stock will be operational. This will help accommodate passengers who typically use the metro. Additionally, due to the closure of the Southern Bridge, there have been changes in the routes of buses No. 22 and 91.
Details of the New Routes
To ensure comfortable transportation for passengers on routes No. 22 and 91, the following measures have been taken:
- On route No. 22, the number of buses has been increased by 4 units, bringing the total to 14 buses.
- 5 buses will operate on a short segment from Trostyanetska Street to the 'Lybidska' metro station.
- On route No. 91, 4 additional buses have been added, resulting in a total of 7 units.
These measures aim to ease passenger transport and reduce the load on the metro during peak hours.
