According to the UN monitoring mission, in August 2023, Kyiv became the leader among Ukrainian cities in terms of civilian deaths. A total of 31 people died in the capital, and 106 were injured.
Following Kyiv is Kherson, which recorded 25 deaths and 334 injuries. These figures highlight the dire situation in Ukraine, where the war continues.
