The Kyiv Region participated in the work of the first Carpathian Summit, which brought together representatives of states, regions, and communities from the Carpathian region.
Together with the head of the Vasylkiv community, Natalia Balasynovych, acting mayor of Bila Tserkva, Volodymyr Vovkotrub, Tetiiv city mayor Bohdan Balagura, my deputy Natalia Havatiuk, and representatives of the Kyiv Regional Development Agency, they took part in the joint work and presented the Kyiv region.
The holding of such a summit is important for Ukraine and all the states of the Carpathian region. It is an opportunity to strengthen cooperation, unite efforts, and work together on the development of our territories. We are a European family, and it is through such partnerships that we build a common European future.
Investment opportunities in the Kyiv region were presented separately. We had the opportunity to showcase the economic passport, key indicators, and specific projects, particularly in the areas of energy supply, community development, and infrastructure.
The Kyiv region has significant investment potential. It is important for international partners to be aware of the opportunities in our region, and for interest to translate into real investments, new projects, and jobs in communities.
I thank the President of Ukraine and the Office of the President for organizing the first Carpathian Summit and for working to strengthen ties between Ukraine and the states of the Carpathian region.
