In February 2023, a criminal proceeding was opened in Ukraine under the article on human trafficking. According to the investigation, officials from the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts (KNUKiM) and the Kyiv University of Culture (KUK) allegedly involved vulnerable students in work at food establishments without proper documentation.
