Latvian President Edgars Rinkēvičs expressed concern about NATO countries' readiness for potential Russian missile attacks. He stated that most Alliance members are currently unprepared to effectively repel such threats.
Rinkēvičs also noted that Europe is lagging in the development of drone technologies and aerial warfare. He warned that current preparations for aerial warfare may lose relevance as early as the middle of next year.
The president emphasized that air defense systems, drone protection, and missile defense are facing serious issues that affect not only Ukraine but all of Europe and NATO.
