According to a recent poll conducted by PF Global for Politico from October 16 to 19, 2026, 54% of Americans believe that President Donald Trump deserves impeachment.
Respondents' Opinions
The poll revealed that a majority of respondents believe Trump's actions warrant impeachment. Among those surveyed:
- 81% of those planning to vote for Democrats in the upcoming congressional elections believe Trump deserves impeachment.
- 25% of respondents intending to vote for Republicans also share this view.
Financial Gain and Consequences
More than 41% of respondents believe that Trump is using his presidency for personal financial gain for himself or his family. Despite this, 56% of Americans think that attempts to impeach him may have minimal consequences.
