In the night from October 17 to 18, 2026, Saint Petersburg and the Leningrad region were subjected to a massive attack, resulting in several serious hits on key facilities.
Targets Hit and Consequences
According to preliminary reports, the following facilities were hit during the attack:
- Saint Petersburg Oil Terminal: a fire was reported in the tank farm.
- Data Center "VKontakte": a large-scale malfunction was detected in the social network.
- "Eastern" Substation: power outages were recorded in the region, likely linked to the attack.
- Possibly one of the bridges.
