Massive Russian Attack on Kyiv: 15 Injured

In the night of October 22, 2026, Kyiv experienced a massive attack from Russia, resulting in 15 people injured, including two 15-year-old teenagers. This was reported by the city mayor Vitaliy Klitschko.

Consequences of the Attack

As a result of the shelling, a restaurant in the Svatoshyn district caught fire, and in the Pechersk district, an ambulance station and six medical vehicles were damaged. These incidents indicate significant infrastructure destruction that requires urgent response.

Traffic Restrictions

Due to the damage caused by the attack, traffic movement across the Southern Bridge in the direction from the right bank to the left bank has been restricted. Drivers are advised to consider these restrictions when planning their trips and, if possible, choose alternative routes.

Additionally, train movements on the green metro line have been altered. Currently, trains are operating only on two sections:

  • between the stations "Sirets" and "Vydubychi";
  • between the stations "Osokorky" and "Chervonyi Khutir".

Train movement on the "green" line will be maintained by the rolling stock that remained in the tunnels overnight. Intervals between trains may be increased.
