On the night of September 30, 2026, Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine, during which the Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 160 aerial targets. The main direction of the strike was Kyiv region, where hits were recorded at 18 locations.

Since the evening of September 29, Russian troops have launched anti-ship missiles Cirkon and Onyx, as well as ballistic missiles Iskander-M and S-400. In total, the following was recorded:
- 5 ballistic missiles;
- 188 strike drones, of which 86 were reactive;
- imitation drones of the type "Parody".

The Ukrainian air defense forces managed to neutralize:
- 5 ballistic missiles;
- 155 enemy drones.
