According to the investigation, the suspect played a key role in the functioning of the criminal organization. His responsibilities included:
- communication with representatives of illegal call centers;
- systematic receipt of funds from these call centers;
- ensuring the safety and conspiracy of the organization's members;
- recruiting new individuals into the criminal activity.
Financial Scale of Criminal Activity
According to information, the documented amount of illicit gains obtained by the criminal organization exceeds 1 billion UAH. This indicates the seriousness and scale of the criminal actions that took place under the suspect's leadership.
History of the Criminal Organization's Creation
It is known that in the mid-2025, one of the leaders of a structural unit of the Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine created and headed this criminal organization. It received bribes for ensuring the uninterrupted operation of call centers that were massively engaged in fraud. One of the figures in the case is the former deputy head of the international cooperation department of the Prosecutor's Office Serhiy Kropyva.
