The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has announced the issuance of a commemorative coin dedicated to the famous song 'Chervona Ruta', written by Volodymyr Ivasiuk.
The obverse of the coin features a stylized portrait of the composer at the piano, along with a musical staff and a pen, symbolizing his contribution to the development of Ukrainian music.
The reverse of the coin depicts a river transitioning into a musical staff with a fragment of the 'Chervona Ruta' melody, while a red rue flower sprouts from the stones, representing the national spirit and cultural identity.
