On October 20, 2026, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Koretsky announced the introduction of new monthly payments for pregnant women and parents of infants. From now on, pregnant women and families raising children under one year old will receive financial support of 7,000 UAH per month.
What new payments have been introduced?
According to the new rules, payments will be provided in the following categories:
- Payments during pregnancy and childbirth — 7,000 UAH per month;
- Childcare allowance for children under one year — 7,000 UAH per month;
- Families with children with disabilities will receive 10,500 UAH per month.
How to apply for payments?
The application process has become more accessible. Women can now submit their applications through Diia, which simplifies the process. The system automatically generates decisions, and employees of the Pension Fund verify and approve them. Applications can also be submitted at Pension Fund service centers, administrative service centers (ASC), and through authorized representatives of local communities.
Who is eligible for payments?
The new payments are available not only to women insured in the system of mandatory state social insurance but also to those who are not insured. This significantly expands the circle of individuals who can receive financial support during pregnancy and childcare.
