On October 27, 2026, as a result of a night attack on Kyiv, the metro infrastructure was damaged. According to the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA), this has led to changes in train operations on several lines.
Changes in Train Operations on the Red Line
On the red line of the metro, trains are currently operating only between the following stations:
- “Akademmistechko”
- “Darnytsia”
The stations “Chernihivska” and “Lisova” are temporarily closed to passengers, complicating access to certain areas of the capital.
Operations on the Green Line and Other Changes
On the green line, train operations are being conducted on underground sections between the following stations:
- “Syriets” — “Vydubychi”
- “Osokorky” — “Chervonyi Khutir”
Additionally, train operations across the Southern Bridge have been temporarily halted, which may affect transportation connectivity in the city.
