In the night of October 1, 2026, Kyiv once again became a target for Russian forces. As a result of the attack, one man was injured, and large fires broke out in several districts of the capital.
Consequences of the Shelling in the Solomianskyi District
In the Solomianskyi district, a fire broke out on the first floor of a 16-story residential building due to the enemy shelling. The fire also engulfed parked cars. The flames were extinguished over an area of 80 square meters. The injured man was handed over to medics for assistance.
Fire in the Obolonskyi District
In the Obolonskyi district of Kyiv, a large fire erupted in a warehouse building. The fire was also extinguished, but one man was injured and was handed over to medics. This incident further confirms the danger that enemy attacks pose to the civilian population.
Other Consequences of Russian Attacks
Additionally, due to the morning attacks by Russian troops on other regions of Ukraine, casualties and damage have also been reported:
- In the Vesnyanska community of Mykolaiv region, a 50-year-old man was killed, and a tractor was destroyed.
- In Odesa, one person was injured, and infrastructure sustained damage.
- In Izium, Kharkiv region, one person was injured, and more than 20 residential buildings and vehicles were damaged.
