Today, October 23, 2026, from 12:00 to 15:00, traffic on the Southern Bridge in Kyiv will be partially closed for repair work from the right bank to the left bank. This decision has been made to carry out necessary repairs that will facilitate the quicker restoration of metro services, particularly on the "green" line.

The closure of traffic on the Southern Bridge is related to the urgent need for repair work. The Kyiv authorities, specifically the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA), have stated that these measures are essential for improving infrastructure and ensuring passenger safety.
Changes in Public Transport Routes
Due to the traffic closure, some public transport routes will be modified:
- Buses No. 22 and No. 91 will operate via the Darnytskyi Bridge.
