As of October 4, 2026, train service on the above-ground section of the 'Green' metro line has been restored during the yellow threat level. Prior to the commencement of passenger transport, test trains were conducted in both directions.
Transport Conditions During the Yellow Threat Level
Starting today, the 'Green' metro line trains are transporting passengers under the yellow threat level. This means that:
- Trains operate between the right and left banks of the Dnipro;
- In the event of a red threat level being declared, surface movement will be halted.
Train Operations During the Red Threat Level
In the case of a red threat level declaration, 'Green' line trains will continue to operate only on specific sections:
- 'Sirets' – 'Vydubychi';
- 'Osokorky' – 'Chervonyi Khutir'.
Calls to Passengers
Authorities urge passengers to closely monitor announcements in the carriages and at the stations, as well as to follow the instructions of metro staff. This is crucial for ensuring safety during transport in periods of heightened threat.
