On the night of October 5, 2026, Russian forces launched rocket strikes on Kharkiv, resulting in one death and six injuries. The attack targeted the Industrial District of the city, causing significant destruction.
Fire and Damage
The strikes caused a fire that engulfed the premises of a two-story administrative building, as well as vehicles and nearby waste. Both administrative and residential buildings were damaged, highlighting the severity of the situation.
Response from Rescue Services
Emergency responders, including firefighters, pyrotechnicians, psychologists from the State Emergency Service, as well as National Police officers, medical personnel, volunteers, and municipal services, promptly arrived at the scene. They worked to extinguish the fire and provide assistance to the injured. Thanks to their efforts, the fire was quickly extinguished, but the aftermath of the attack remains serious.
