Romania plans to assist Ukraine in developing defense production and share its experience in the field of nuclear energy, stated President Nikușor Dan at the "Carpathian Eight" summit.
According to him, Bucharest is ready to attract investments in the defense sector and organize joint work between engineers from both countries, reports "24 Channel".
Dan noted that Romania has a long tradition in defense production; however, the sector has not developed sufficiently over the past 30 years and now requires investments.
Additionally, Romania is prepared to provide Ukraine and other countries in the Carpathian region with expertise and specialists in nuclear energy. According to Dan, the country has over 50 years of experience in this field.
