Russia may attempt to test NATO's readiness to invoke Article 5 on collective defense through hybrid attacks and 'false flag' provocations, stated Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys.
Vilnius possesses the same intelligence data regarding possible scenarios from Russia as other countries in the region and allies.
Budrys emphasized that he has already discussed these threats with NATO leadership and European military commanders.
He also noted that public warnings from European politicians are part of a coordinated campaign aimed at making it clear to the Kremlin that allies are prepared to respond immediately to any provocations and that hiding Russia's involvement in hybrid operations will not be possible.
