On October 26, 2026, as a result of a nighttime attack by Russian forces on the city of Zaporizhzhia, four people were injured. Private houses, vehicles, and a commercial building were damaged.
Details of the Attack
According to the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Administration Mikhail Semikin, a fire broke out at the site of one of the impacts. As of 7 AM, the number of injured has risen to four:
- two women aged 22 and 30;
- two men aged 40 and 61.
All the injured received medical assistance, and their condition is currently being clarified.
Government Response
The local authorities are actively responding to the situation. They are urging residents to be cautious and adhere to safety measures. Additionally, it is reported that rescue services are working at the scene to eliminate the consequences of the attack.
Situation in Other Regions
Besides Zaporizhzhia, other regions have also been affected by Russian attacks. In particular, in Chernihiv region, two people were injured as a result of shelling:
- In the Pryluky district, Russians struck a hangar of a private enterprise, injuring a man;
- In Novhorod-Siverskyi, a grain storage facility caught fire, injuring a woman;
- In the Korukivka district, a large-scale fire broke out at a warehouse.
Authorities are urging the population to remain cautious and follow official announcements.
